What are the technical characteristics of the plate cardboard filter?
- 2020-04-10-

Plate cardboard filter is a kind of intermittent pressure filter equipment. Plate cardboard filter is used for the separation of various suspensions, with good separation effect and easy to use. It is especially suitable for small-scale filtration occasions, and the use pressure is generally low, and the filtration pressure is less than 0.4MPa.

The plate cardboard filter is mainly composed of three parts: the frame part, the filter part, and the pressing device. When the plate cardboard filter is working, the handwheel is turned, and the pinion gear and the large gear are used to drive the screw to push the pressing plate, which will be located in the pressing plate. The filter plate and the filter medium (filter cloth) between the tight plate and the thrust plate are pressed tightly to ensure that the filtered material slurry with working pressure is pressurized and filtered in the filter chamber.

(1) Frame part: The frame constitutes the foundation of the filter press to support the filter mechanism and connect other components. It is mainly composed of a thrust plate, a pressing plate, a pressing part and a main beam

(2) Filter part: it is composed of filter plates arranged on the main beam in a certain order and filter media (cloth) sandwiched between the filter plates to form filter units (filters)

(3) Pressing device: The plate cardboard filter is the power device of the filter press, and the main components are pinion gears, large gears, lead screws, etc.

The plate type cardboard filter has reasonable structure design, stable and reliable performance, simple operation, convenient maintenance and wide application range. It is an ideal equipment for the separation of suspended liquid.

Scope of application of plate cardboard filter: plate cardboard filter is suitable for various industrial fields of solid-liquid separation such as petroleum, chemical industry, dyestuff, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, food, papermaking and sewage treatment.
